We’ve got something exciting to share — we’ve officially been nominated in the Eat & Drink category for Best Burger in the “Best of North County” contest! Honestly, we’re beyond grateful just to be in the conversation. When we opened our doors, the goal was simple: make really, really good burgers using real ingredients. Seeing how much love you’ve shown us over this past year means everything.

So what makes our burgers stand out? Why are people calling them the best in San Diego?

This is where it all starts. We grind and blend premium Angus steak cuts in-house, every single day. No frozen shortcuts, no mystery meat — just fresh, high-quality beef that’s free of added hormones and antibiotics.


We use a mix of chuck roll and brisket to get that perfect balance: crispy edges on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside. It’s the kind of burger that doesn’t need to hide behind anything — the flavor speaks for itself.

2. Seed Oil Free Spreads Made In House

Our spreads are kind of a big deal. We make every batch ourselves using avocado oil and real, simple ingredients. No seed oils, no weird additives — just clean, bold flavor.

Let’s talk cheese. We went out of our way to find an all-natural American cheese made from aged cheddar and real ingredients — no artificial preservatives, no artificial colors.


It melts perfectly, tastes rich and savory, and skips that overly processed, plastic-y vibe you’ll find elsewhere. It’s American cheese, upgraded.

4. Fresh Baked Buns

A great burger deserves a great bun, and we don’t cut corners here either. We partner with local bakeries to bring in fresh, seed oil-free buns every day.


They’re soft, simple, and made with clean ingredients — the perfect foundation that lets the burger shine without overpowering it.

5. Fries That Actually Matter

You can’t have a great burger without great fries, right? Ours start as fresh-cut potatoes, never frozen, and are fried in 100% beef tallow for that old-school, golden crisp. They’re crispy, flavorful, and the perfect sidekick to your burger. Once you try them, it’s hard to go back.
