What's NOT in Your Food (And Why We're Proud of That)
Most people think about what goes into their meal. We think about that too — but we also think hard about what shouldn'tbe there.
Microplastics are one of those things. These tiny plastic particles can sneak into food through packaging, prep surfaces, and beverages — and once they're in, they don't just pass through. Research links them to inflammation and hormone disruption, and frankly, that's not something we're willing to ignore.
So here's what we've done about it:
We ditched plastic cutting boards. Almost every restaurant uses them. We don't. Our NSF-certified wood cutting boards naturally resist bacteria and don't shed plastic particles into your food with every knife stroke. Cleaner prep, cleaner food.
We serve cans, not plastic bottles. With long-term exposure, plastic bottles can leach microplastics into drinks — especially when they've been sitting in a warm delivery truck or storage room. Aluminum cans don't have that problem. Easy swap, real difference.
We keep packaging minimal. No unnecessary plastic wraps or layers. Just what's needed to get your food to you safely.
This is the same standard we hold ourselves to when we're cooking at home — and if we wouldn't serve it to our own families that way, we won't serve it to you that way either.
Clean food should actually be clean. That's the whole idea.
